Nancarrow is the musical project of singer-songwriter Graham Nancarrow, known for his dynamic fusion of high-energy country music and raw, gritty sound that honors classic country while weaving in timeless rock influences.
Originally from San Diego, California, Graham Nancarrow was raised on an organic farm not too far from the beach. His authentic style shines through his music. Nancarrow’s music captures the spirit of today’s Country/Americana scene.
Nancarrow quickly garnered recognition for his powerful live performances and signature country rock sound. His music beautifully combines traditional country elements with a modern edge, resonating with a diverse audience. In 2017, he made the exciting move to Nashville, Tennessee, further refining his musical craft and expanding his artistic horizons. Days were spent writing and recording songs and the nights were spent onstage at honky tonks oftentimes until closing time. In 2022, he performed at Nissan Stadium during the NHL Stadium Series in Nashville, Tennessee in front of 68,000+ audience.
Nancarrow’s releases highlight his artistic ability as a songwriter to tell a story and paint a sonic image of the adventure for himself, to share with his listeners. His authenticity shines through his work. Listeners can trace his artistic evolution in his ever-growing catalog of songs that uniquely presents his story. Not for fame, but out of necessity to create and release.
He made his country debut with Valley of The Deer (2012) which earned a nomination for Best Country/Americana at the SD Music Awards. He followed up with Heart EP (2013) and Simple Things (2015) which won best Country/Americana album. Nancarrow collaborated with Grammy Award-winning producer Vance Powell to create his third full-length album, Hot Chicken (2016) which would later be followed by a couple B sides from that album ('21/’22). In 2020 he released 4 new singles and a 5 song E.P. called Una Mas, followed by singles “Get On Up” (2022) “Good Times” (2024) “Heart” (2025) “We Don’t Have To Talk” (2025) & “Summertime” (2025)
Most recently, his music was featured in the movie “A Long Road To Tao” on Amazon Prime. He has travelled far and wide to play his songs and has shared the stage with a long list of legends.
Outside of music, Nancarrow maintains an engaging presence on social media, connecting with fans across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, where he shares updates and performance clips.
